History

Tempest Tek was founded on April 13, 2001. Although this was only the day that it was published on the web, work on Tempest Tek began several weeks prior to the launch day. 

Tempest Tek was created by two teenagers from Connecticut, USA. They crated Tempest Tek because of their similar interests in both Gaming and Art. Tempest Tek's goal is to be constantly visited by any and all gamers and art gurus. 

While still in design stages, Tempest Tek wasn't a name that simply popped up. Other names were thought of...and quickly dropped. Some of these names are named here only for pure amusement. Raging Bananas, Rampaging Mafioso's, Arcane Monkeys, and Suicidal Faeries.
